After that yeah, switching would be nice, and some new skins, maybe for achievements in the game, etc
What do I have to achieve to get original Lin back...?
She looks awful. Devs should sell a cheap DLC to restore her appearance. I feel so bad for her, bald and sitting on the deck there cause there's no gun for her to operate.
I feel like the Devs are punishing the player for some reason. Makes no sense to work so hard towards this crew member including two forced PvP missions only to have them do that.
We have checked that the gold edition skins are in the game and displayed, please compare with these skins what you will see in the game

- because of other players claiming this
- because you've never posted a comparison or at least how they should look (aside from the image on the store page, but it's small and not showing the portraits as in the game)
- because the fandom page contained wrong images at that time: https://ageofwater.fandom.com/wiki/Crew?diff=prev&oldid=559
- and even now the golden portraits are mirrored on that page which makes the comparison harder: https://ageofwater.fandom.com/wiki/Crew At first i though the main difference is hair tilting to another side
- because the changes are TOO subtle! Hard to note the differences without looking at two screenshots together. Actually I was expecting something more like shown on the old fandom page... The differences now:
- The outfits, but it's kinda hard to compare them because lack of free camera, and i don't have good screenshots
- Alter Ego — more suntan, looks a bit more mature, darker hair
- Kitty Sark — more suntan, back part of hair is a bit darker
- Jack Wiley — again more suntan, looks more mature
- and because i didn't guess to upload a screenshot >_< or at least find a screenshot from the demo
Anyway thanks for finally responding, now i'm at peace at last!Comparison of portraits:

You have to be owner of the golden edition of the game to get these costumes in particular.
Wondering the same, with the tricorn hats.
I am a gold edition owner. I only have the alternate appearance, not the pirate hats.
There was incorrect information on the fan site, we asked the author to update it so that it wouldn't raise questions. Thanks for your feedback.
Put on board and crew get the hat on the head .
Sell DLC to change Ling back, or at least give her hair.

Moreover, Gold and normal skins are not much different, and there are still many ambiguities.

In addition, Lin looks like this at the end of the mission, clearly a character prepared for a skin from the store.
