The devs strike again while circle jerking each other to the bad guys never missing a single time. I really wanna like this game but the devs are starting to piss me off releasing such a half ass game.

I mean, cannons dont miss but you can dodge other attacks, you can also cheese ai so keep that in mind. Ai is not smart so they buff them to make it fair, also their code is NOT TERRIBLE.

i noticed once u can get to around 50 speed u can start dodging stuff. also dont forget u can shoot torps and missles shot at u.

Just repair hull or kill the gunners. I have made it through 99% of this game not even having armor on my boat lol.

Great advice, except for the fact the crew are smoothbrains and do literally nothing 95% of the time and using "emergency mode" can't even keep up with incoming damage most of the time. My hull get's absolutely shredded by literally everything except sharkee jet-skis. Like, my ship goes into "sinking" mode instantly. I even lose hull panels randomly on the opposite side of my ship for zero reason. Game balance is super broken, all the "git gud" folks are either getting super luck, farming jet skis or just plain lying about their abilities.

I pimped my Sonja Longboat (still use T1 for a reason, lost all on entering and start over, scared to do it again :D ) to 50(80) use 3 Cannons II, 1 machine gun II, and kill on long range before he/they can. It works till T3 ships for me. if they come close I boost away.
Also if possible use rocks to hide behind them, sometimes the enemy stops too and it ends in an static battle, they are not smart when you hide imo.

did you manage emergency mode? by pressing T there is an option what the crew have to do you can change an manage them. since I did this it works way better.

You need 2 guys with the enhanced emergency repair skill and 2 pumpers.

Also when you get Shaya it gets better more crew faster repair

Was just about to say but Jue mentioned it. You can make it so some crew in emergency mode repairs the hull instead of pumping.
