T3 Vigilant Patrol Boat
I'm looking for a T3 Vigilant Patrol Boat.
I've seen it with several pirate groups, but there are so many enemies that it's too difficult to board.
Do you have information on where the T3 Vigilant Patrol Boat alone spawns?

Just kill the enemies, quickly board it and put weapons/translocate to three whales, grab your dinghy and fetch your old hull

Other then possible mission enemy spawn, no. There are several boats that are only part of patrols with exception to quest spawns. It is possible to lead them away if your patient and go far enough away, just make sure to take the helmsmen out fast otherwise they will try to return back to the group.

They never spawn alone always in a group just kill the other enemies or drag it out of the group.

Thanks for the tip.
First, try aiming at the helmsman.

I've never even seen a T3 hull aside from the tugboat
I wanna say down near D 13... There is a 2x2 red square grid down there where they spawn. A bunch of teir 3 and 4s will spawn.

If you.. like said above.. Can manage to get just one of them to follow you.. kite them away from group...hard to do as they often spawn so close to you they all agro you fast...

Then you can pick it apart and board it. Had a new friend ingame help me do this. Fast little lvl 3 patrol boat, but effin hell it is easy to flip... sometimes a lag spike.. boom ded

So patrol groups ALWAYS spawn in the same spot, so if you are able to mark it right, can know where they spawn, and they seem to have a weird max spawn distance between 400-500(few occasions 500-600), but the time of spawn differs so between 400-500, 300-400, or just a bit under 300 usually has them spawning quick.

i mean its alot like any other game. if a boat u know the name of and not just one u saw and go after. u can search for it. age of water hulls.... secondly the area i was hunting had all rangers spawning. so, why not be a ranger so i can ignore them? since we are here to hunt for our boat. group spawns and drag them back to rangers aka npc friends and kill off the small ones fast as possible. drag the boat u want away from the battle. profit. i recommend teleporting to three whales soon as u confirm all items are on u. and i recommend using an instant recharge to teleport back and getting ur old boat. some luck involved but it was fairly straight forward

same. I've only ever seen the walrus in the T3 hulls, never anything else. I'd like to pick up a vigilant but by myself in my walrus...yeah...probably not going to happen lol. I was down in D12 around that freighter suspended on the rocks (cool) where I've read they maybe spawn, but only saw jetskis and a couple burdocks go by (I hid lol). Wish there was a looking for group channel in this stupid chat system

Ping me in Steam chat if you need help, i got myself T3 Vigilant from a pirate armada using only my T2 Scorpena with flaks alone :) It was a bit sweaty but speed is still useful, i'd prefer Scorpena over Walrus. Haven't equipped it yet.

Yeah, so far i haven't seen any other T3s outside of armadas, rarely in a quest maybe, but they're likely non-boardable.

And there's global proximity chat in the game, though it's mostly silent, probably try voice instead.
I can just recommend you the Voice Chat ask for help, most players are toxic and try to sink what you wanna board, but there is always someone trying to help. Use Wiki Fandom for locations of every ship. There is 4 known locations for fleets with the boat. Never alone tho.

Yeah I went to A5 and some nice T3's were spawning, but a group of T4's were farming medallions. The sucky thing is: a couple T2's showed up to try to board and the higher levels just kept destroying the T3 ships, they wouldn't help at all. One decent guy was there, xx-something and called them on it in text but they ignored him. It felt like a big flex. They knew people wanted some ships to board. I was in my walrus, looking to pick up a shamrock, but I gave up pretty quick.

I have problems with the boarding mechanic in general, I think it's a straight up game killer, but one thing it DOES NOT need is that stuff going on when people are looking to board. The community in this game, man.

Earlier I was taking on a walrus above 3 whales just for lolz when a scorp showed up. I backed off and told him to take it. He did, got the helmsman, and got himself a nice walrus.

A little later the xx- guy showed up at 3 whales asking if anyone needed help with boarding, so respect to that guy (whatever his name was)

Yeah, there are always good-natured and/or bored players willing to help, at least those with working chat and/or voice. They also don't mind helping some bozos a lesson.

I got my Vigilant at D14 spawn, not sure if it's the best place though: if you get sunk — you get respawned at Colosseum, not too far but the armada despawns, so better doing it in a party. I managed to pull a couple of ships away to blow off the crewmembers. When doing it alone — don't be shy to use some boosters — Instant hull repair, Uranium, Nitro — you likely have some accumulated and lying in inventory without any use.

What's your in-game name? Same as Steam?

Maybe not in this case, i like helping others to board ships they really need, but i'm perfectly capable of capturing Walrus myself, but not interested in it as a ship for using, only for hull collection :)

It hurts to see how many players are doing pretty tough quests in T1 Sonjas, Sofiyas, Njords and Jarls! I try PMing them and offer to help blowing off guys of some nearby ships, but most don't respond, maybe don't notice or chat is not working for them. And sometimes they're too inexperienced and sink the ship by mistake or because they have nothing but cannons >_>
But i'll try to continue doing it, just need a good idea how best to approach this :)
H16 is still my favorite place — many newbies, easy spawns.
