Boarding Tier V Ships

So, I'm level 25 and have Boarding level III on the captain, but the tier V gunboats always self-destruct when the last crew member is killed. Has anyone run into this or know the reason?

Edit: Disregard. It was the specific spawn - apparently, you can't board anything at the tier V spawn in M2.

I heard Quest-Ships are not boardable. Maybe try a rejoin of the world before engaging your attempt.

go E10, Burdocks with 1/3 free cargo easy boardable, but you need lvl 27 to use t5 hull
boarding skill only allows to take loot using boarding

The aircraft carrier, i have a video on my channel farming there. Of course there is a lot of tricks to get around the problems.
I will post another a better video tonight if you cant grab a burdock

you talking about the ones about 21 mins into your letsplay? ive taken out the gunners on 2 and they instantly sink

I am at work and cant check it out sadly. Probably is in another video but i will publish tonight one for farming them.
The ones in the north sink but the ones near the aircraft carrier can be boarded, a little to the south east of it, near a dredge spot.
They 100% can be boarded since i did it this morning, just watch out they dont get too close, they are deadly at close range

Seriously dude you da man Tysm, only took 1 attempt, will let you know once I've built it up.
Took me 2 and a half days at p6 to go from 25-27, the grind is real

Feels a bit light and twitchy considering it's the heaviest boat currently in game, admittedly i'm running it light with 160k spare holding repair supplies, easy to get it quick considering 5 outboard slots, a touch front heavy, so better to build back heavy

nice, everything i wanted:) the octa something is also in game as a quest enemy. the burdock is the light attack boat type, the fastest
I think it has a ram slot as well?
