I believe there is max speed is 187 knots
Yes unlimited speed but cannot travel more than 187 knots otherwise game will stop you if you goes over 187 knots.
I build boat reach to 197 knots and actually speed at 197 knots for few seconds before game stop me. So confrim is max speed at 187 knots.

I am not sure about this, you would have a very hard time reaching the engire power to do that, thats not even enough power generation to run 1 meter:)
I am pretty sure only 1 exaust and only 1 airintake work so making multiples is not worth it:)

I am not saying it wouldnt work but it could the result of many bugs or some occult stuff you did to the game.
With that speed your boat could capsize instantly by moving around

BTW the game likely uses kmh — just how regular land lubbers prefer measuring speed. In-game values are kinda too big for knots. Japanese experimental destroyer Shimakaze reached around 42 knots and was the fastest at that time. And we have rubber boat with a speed of 40 something.

Yeah, i don't believe it either. But looks fun, also i've seen him testing it near Three Whales :) Got himself sunk at least a couple of times, but boy was it fast

That's wrong.
And it's very easy to test yourself.
Mount 2 of the same on a ship with a decent top speed, but not enough power to reach that speed.
Check what your top (not boosted) speed is on smooth waters.
Hit B.
Take off one.
Check your speed again.

I did, i used 5 low tier vs 1 t4 and the t4 increased my speed to max while the lower tiers didnt even if they technically gave more engine power.
Try it🤔 most people i see use the big ones.
Maybe its additive after the first one and the first one is multiplicative.
Either way, its a lot more efficient to use high tier for intake/exaust.
Would be nice if a dev told us

You would not suprising that capsize is not easy for those speed. often crazy rolls and keep on sea no matter how much you tight turn. Yes less than sometime to got capsize if enough flip on sea.
I been tested for 187 knots and not much issued with capsize as long you take easy turn. or everything is chaos!
