You mean a detailed description or what? Because they all have names, click any module in the inventory and move mouse cursor over the icons.
I mean they don't describe the detail info of those icon in top right, you can't see any detail, you can't move cursor to see to know what icon said
Open inventory on the water, click item and read stats names.
I agree it should be more accessible, but you can kinda memorize them. Also you can read stats of ship-crafted items — same, by clicking their icon in the crafting menu.

I have no idea how players are so inattentive and don't try clicking some quite intuitive things: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2695490/discussions/0/6678353521950037004/#c6678353521952840990

aw, I see it. I play Crossout, in Crossout, those item will show detail the most main stats, and some additional stats written by "feature" that you only see by click and see more detail, you know, those items in this game need to show all stats detail just by move the cursor to see, then if there's bonus or special stats, it will be see by click for more detail, just like Crossout

There's certainly room for improvement
But at least most modules have the same set of stats, unique ones are pretty rare (Distiller, Dredge stats).

And some stats are misnamed :) Reload speed is actually reload time, so less = better
But for Distiller accumulation rate is indeed rate, so more = better

BTW there's a way to see stat names in other modes too, but it's inconvenient and only works for items on the edges: click the module with LMB and hold it, then move the cursor towards stats and mouse over the icons. But if you bump into another item — you'll see its stats instead.

Their GUI design feels really-really inexperienced. It's improving but still does not follow best practices and is inconsistent.
