no reward (paint) given for finishing " a gift from the heavens" mission

hello people has anyone else noticed they didn't get the paint from the people in the hot air balloon and is there any other way to get it ?

You've restarted or playing on another account?
I've reached that point several times and always got one random solid paint. Are you sure you didn't get it? If you're in the port — check cargo hold of all ships.

Btw fun fact: if you look at that mission in the log after completing it lists all 7 paints as if you're supposed to get them all and not one randomly :) I guess they didn't implement showing quests with random rewards well enough yet.

I heard that paints can sometimes be obtained while dredging but so far can't confirm myself, i found only decorations and cabins aside from regular resources.

no restart in at lvl 25,too long to get back to that i was just looking at missions ive done and notice the paints marked as reward for that mission and thought that they where all the reward but ive got brown and green(idk which i got from that mission) also the orange and yellow striped and camo paint

Ah, i see, it's misleading indeed.

Brown is given to everyone in the tutorial, same with striped. I guess you have basic edition since you haven't mentioned royal octopus.
Green was from that quest,
Camo — unless purchased then maybe got out of dredging.
