Does anyone know why the scanner will continue to ping even after the resource blob goes black?

Either there are other dredge points within that circle, which are sometimes hard to find, or it's a desync error. If you relogin to the game and the scanner stops ticking — means it's a desync.

Rarely you can find dredge points on echo sounder without scanner ticking — i presume those are desyncs too. I mean real working dredge points where you can get something.
