cabins that need chemical waste to craft

nothing came up on the search for this but imo why do some of the cabins and superstructures need chemical waste to craft when basicaly they are made of metal and from what i see no one makes them since chem waste is already hard to get or is use to craft orther needed components like the batterys which i do see taking chem waste. and due to this i believe that alot of the superstructures are not being used (unlessed they were aquired by boarding) so it would be smart to redo the one that take chem waste and swap it with say copper or just remove the chem waste unless there are plans to add special feast to the cabs the require chem waste

I've really gotten the impression that chemical waste is basically not in the game

it is but because the dredge spots are global and not just local its hard to dredge since other players go and farm it then you get the ones that will ram and flip you to cause you to capsize so the can get it over you tbh wish they ad a immunity against other players ships while dredging to prevent that but i do say devs need to look at how to rebalance the resource drops and lower the wood drop rate and rase the rest a lil higher cause i already got like 40k or more wood in base while every thing else is less than 10k
