MorphVOX Pro 4 - Voice Changer

MorphVOX Pro 4 - Voice Changer

Tyko Feb 14, 2014 @ 5:55pm
Need help too make it work on my system.
Can't figure out what too do, I have a headset connected to my X-Fi Fatalaty,
no problem using it in game, but Morphvox don't show any sign of communication.

I've checked the system volume settings for mic and speaker, they're both in the top.
But it doesn't matter if I assign a press-button key or not, no sound will come out.

I run Win7, 64bit

Best regards
Tyko

Make sure the "Screaming Bee Audio" virtual mic is enabled and working.

ok, to make it short, since I installed Morphvox, my ingame chat function has stopped working, I uninstalled the program and installed the soundcard drivers again, soo my voice chat works again, maybe I'll try if the program works someother time, when I have plenty of it. :csgoskull:

I've found that for Steam based games and Steam itself, it only uses the default microphone on the PC. Go into Recording Devices under your Sound settings and set Screaming Bee to default for both Default Device and Default Communication Device.

Then go into Steam -> Settings -> Voice and make sure it says ScreamingBee

As far as other games, I haven't had issues so long as Screaming Bee is the default device. It should appear in each game's microphone list and should be selected or selectable.

As far as getting Screaming Bee itself to work, go into MorphVox -> Preferences, Device settings and then set the Microphone to your headset's microphone. In my case it's the only option. Playback device doesn't so much matter unless you are doing listen back mode.

I hope that helps

Thank you for your respond, I'll try it again I guess, but I went true the installation hints and tips and the only thing I got out of my speakers and mic was silence.
But then again, I use my front Line in/Mic in as input, maybe this can't coop with that?
Oh well, I've tried it, didnt' work on my behalf, guess a refund is out of the question, but would been nice :rfacepalm:

Did you just basically say "I pirated this" on the steam forums for the software?

this really helped, every time this happened i always went to my pc settings.because of this i finally know that its the software itself not picking up my headset mic.
