MorphVOX Pro 4 - Voice Changer

MorphVox wont detect my mic
I downloaded MorphVox Jr to test it out. When i first tried it i had to manually select my mic and it morphed my voice but it sounded kinda shoddy which i could only change if i got the pro version so i started the free trial for it. Everything went fine with the download. It didnt pick up my voice at first so i went into the preferences and changed it to my mic like the jr version but it still wont hear anything with my mic selected. Looking at my recording settings shows that my mic is picking up my voice no problem. Mic sensitivity is maxed out and other programs have screaming bee selected as their microphone, just MorphVox cant hear me.

Also, check to make sure that Screeming Bee and your Mic devices isn't too low or muted.

already read that thread and followed your instructions exactly. I have a suspicion its something to do with my drivers but i really dont know enough to tell if something is screwey

You could try completely uninstalling and re-installing MorphVox and see if that works.

Do you have another mic you can plug-in to test?
If it works with a different mic, then perhaps for whatever reason MorphVox doesn't like your other mic, or it could be a matter of updating mic and/or audio drivers or ensuring that you have Windows .NET Framework up to date (MorphVox requires at least Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 to run) or perhaps reinstall it in case something of it was corrupted.

Also, in the Windows Recording Devices properties, see if the mic you want to use is set as the default device there.

thanks for the help m8, it was an issue with my mics drivers, they needed updating cause a different headset worked
