I am REALLY tired of this livestreamer/"influencer" catering and crap.
Im sure that whoever sets up these events, which im guessing is either some poor intern, or a community manager, could be doing LITERALLY anything else.
Go mop the floors of the office, or vacuum if its carpeted. Interact with the community in some form. Grab coffee for the people doing actually useful work in the office. Talk to the developers and relay information back to the community on things. Literally anything else.
but I guess instead I could just watch people play your game, instead of actually playing it myself. How that does anything beneficial for you beyond metrics and artificially inflating twitch stream viewcounts, I do not know.
You would make more money by encouraging people to actually play the videogame. If only there was a way to incentivize that....
