Trapped in the Temple of Chaos!

As the title implies, an enemy in the first area was unreachable, forcing me to bail on the run via Character Select so I could leave an inescapable room. The monster was on top of the elevator to reach the next room; I couldn't damage it at all.

Tried looking for an in-game bug report, but didn't see one.
