POE2
I played POE1 and enjoyed it. However, the more I read posts here with talk of skills and git gud the more I think I will pass. I just want to play and have fun. I am not looking for a game I will rage quit.

I don't understand why a company making a product for sale would design said product in a way to limit their potential customers. The industry I worked in wanted to sell as many units as possible.

Probably because there's plenty of other very simple arpg's. Bout time they made one that involves some actual player skill, not just knowledge of builds. Literally every other ARPG let's you facetank everything.

Fortunately not every game aims to be D4.

Low bar, I don't know why games don't try to be better than half baked IP's cashing in on nostalgia that has nothing to do with fundamental game-play.

Actual difficulty is hard to achieve, so many games try to up the ante, but end up alienating most of the player base with poorly designed systems, cheap mechanics that just waste time and overall don't offer enough fun to invest in.

Fun is subjective right? That being said, this game isn't hard, it's toxic because of design. Git gud/skill issue is already here in EA absolutely no community.

Every single streamer talking about how amazing of a game this is, how player friendly it is and how much choice there is, all use the same cookie cutter builds, it's laughable how many people are using Kripps build. It won't be long before they move to the next game and come back for updates. People who play games for a living will cash out as soon as the viewers do.

Honestly PoE 1 does everything better, at what point does PoE 2 strive to be PoE 1 and what is the point of PoE 2 if we have PoE 1?

I don't understand why all these companies try reinventing the wheel, when the staples are decades old and still do it better.

I don't care if a unique drops, makes a special sound and fills my screen with confetti, 99% chance it will be garbage, the off chance it isn't useless, it's not much of an upgrade over a random yellow.

The original Diablo had the formula, now all we have is copies of inbred D2/D3.

Story, difficulty, rifts.

Perhaps the world doesn't need yet another hyperpalatable game appealing to the lowest common denominator. There's such a thing as a "niche".
Ye and devs did not want to be niche this time XD Except they ovbviously lack understanding what that word means XD

I agree the fck is with all these trigger and combo mechanics when all they had to do was mechanicaly chalenging bosses and mechanicaly simple player charecters.

I don't understand why a company like Apple would design a product so expensive to limit their potential customers.

I don't understand why a vegan company would sell product only for vegan to limit their potential customers.

I don't understand why movies realisator produce genre/niche movies for specific audience to limit their potential customers.

Its called niche target, its called specialization.

Not everyone want the same ♥♥♥♥ as the dirty mass.

I personnally don't watch marvel movies and im happy there is other better movies because with your mindset their would be ONLY marvel super hero movies.

Yeah at the end we only need minecraft and fortnite, these games don't limit the customers they can get. What a wonderful world with only two famous video games for the brainless mass.

I'll stop with this. Niche target = less sales. As Dirty Harry said long ago, "A man's got to know his limitations."

Just slog through the campaign....Endgame maps is basically POE1.

Except the 6 lives become 1 life now in PoE 2 which is dumb imo
