Arrow speed vs. projectile speed for bows
I'm looking for a quiver.

The quiver I want to buy has 30% increased arrow speed, and 30% increased projectile speed.

There is a passive on the POE tree called "Feathered Fletching" which says:

Increases and reductions to PROJECTILE speed also applies to damage with bows

Does this mean that I get a +60% increased damage from this quiver, or only +30%?

Btw I know the difference between "more" and "increased" so we can skip that dialogue if anyone was gonna bring it up, it's irrelevant. Just need to know if ARROW speed counts under PROJECTILE speed for the purposes of Feathered Fletching.

One is attack speed, the other is the speed your projectiles move through the screen (not how fast you fire them).

Projectile speed deterimes how fast your shots go, and how hard they are to dodge etc. Some projectiles (like ice spells ones etc) move pretty slowly at base.

In poe 1 if I remember right projectile speed would affect how fast some attacks went before they dissapated etc (or returned to you). Not sure if that is the case here tbh.

Increasing projectile speed is usually not worth it for bow users, or at least wasn't for me. I would rather have attack speed.

no, its not attack speed, its arrow speed.

Bog? I have not seen arrow speed....I'm guessing that is projectile speed for arrows then but yeah no clue how it interacts.

I’m also curious how arrow speed interacts with that notable.

One works only for arrows, other for any projectile (like fireball). Both has identical function, the first one is just more restricted to work only for arrows. Notable should work for arrows if its not bugged as arrows are subcategory of projectiles.

tl;dr: with my testing, yes - "% increased arrow speed" is, for the intents and purposes of the "Feathered Fletching" notable, the same as "projectile speed."

I checked this by unequipping my quiver - checking the damage numbers, then equipping a white "Volant Quiver" (the quiver that says "% increased arrow speed."

The damage numbers went up. Not the DPS tooltip, the actual damage numbers in the smaller window. I was also curious about "Feathered Fletching's" interaction with this quiver/affix, which is how I found this discussion.
Arrow speed is projectile speed. Arrows are projectiles. Should increase damage by 60% if not bugged or a poorly explained mechanic (which is one of POE trademarks).

Can confirm alongside NerdvanaNC, ***INCREASED*** projectile speed modifiers from quiver (not just the Volant Quiver) applies to Feathered Fletching.

***MORE*** projectile/arrow speed DOES NOT apply to Feathered Fletching. *Increased* does.
