But I can sell some of my skins from CS or other games etc. I own on Steam Bazaar to get 90$ on my Steam Wallet without touching my Credit/Debit Card at all.
If I can get 300 coins from 30$ supporter pack and 600 coins from 60$ supporter pack I can pay 90$ from my steam wallet to buy 900 coins.
This will allow me to accomplish 3 things;
1. I save IRL money
2. I get extra 900 coins to spend in game shop on top of the 1000 coins I got from 100$ pack which means 1900 coins total.
3. I will be giving some more money to GGG in a different way to support the game I love.
One of the MMORPG games I played in the past had Bronze-Silver-Gold packs with 300-600-900 in game currency and each pack had some skins etc. If you bought only Gold pack, you would get 900 coins and all skins. If you bought Silver+Bronze as well you wouldn't get any duplicate items but you would get 600 and 300 coins. Buying all 3 packs meant 900+600+300 = 1800 cash shop currency and a single copy of each item from highest pack.
in this case: the lord of Oghram and the basic 30 + ea packs
Since you already have these items, you are MUCH better off buying straight points with your steam wallet funds and then putting in a ticket to support to have those point purchases count towards going from the King of Faridun pack to the ones at a higher tier.
Open the store in-game, find the option to buy points and use that.
wtf? i've had steam now for 15 years, (12 on this acct. i think) and i have 500k points. i can somehow convert those points to my steam wallet??!?
The points don't convert to money. However, the trading cards can be sold on the Steam marketplace for money which goes into your Steam wallet. You'd be surprised how much some of them go for.
Couple years ago I went through and cleared out my trading card inventory, and made enough money that Steam sent me a letter saying "if you wanna keep doing this, we need some info to report this to the IRS so you can pay taxes on it".
ah ok. thanks for clarification. i have a few of those cards but i doubt they're worth much. most expensive one i have is from valkyria chronicles and it's worth 220 gems, which i'm guessing is $2.20. guess you have to do all that trading. maybe i'll look into it one day.
coin purchases count towards packs, you still get all the extras
In order to get my coins and skins, I had to login to the PoE2 website and activate something from there. After that I immediately recieved my coins/skins etc. Have you done that?
