Sustaining Waystones

I just went 4 maps in a row without a single waystone drop, are we leaving the end game progression on pure rng or am I doing something wrong here

Yes i do have all the skills associated with drop rate + tier + rarity upgrade in the atlas tree. And i fully explore the entire map each time. I just went 4 maps without a single waystone drop going from tier 8 > 9

I got bored of the game at tier 2 maps because they don't drop and I'm sick of farming tier 1s. I know you can reforge 3 items into 1 but still.

i dont blame you, even if you do manage to progress and get one it will just repeat and ull have to do a lower one for a CHANCE for a higher one, and its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that t8 maps are dropping t2 waystones when i do get them

They need to increase the drop chance for them. But i do not think, we will get it this month. I am stuck on T5 maps right now. I get t1-4, but 5? Nope.

dont know, I am doing t6 and 7 atm and have no problem finding new ones. But usually I upgrade all the waystone I want to use, either just to blue if they already have like 150% extra chance to find new ones.. or to yellow. the lower ones I just keep to combine them at some point.

I get frequently waystones of a higher level than the ones I am using, I dont mind a tier lower since we can combine them.

yeah thats what i thought too, i got to t8 no problem, i always regal my waystones and i have always use my highest ones on double tower buffs and i still run into 5 maps now without an upgrade 226% drop chance on waystones, 1 dropped for effing t6, what a joke

It's insane that T1s and T2s can drop on T15 maps... what on earth were they thinking...

Keep investing, alchemy orbs are quite cheap to use on waystones. Its always worth it. Do map mechanics like breach and ritual. They are also good for maps. More investment = more return. I get tens of waystones each map with good investment.

Dont be afraid to use vaal orbs, they are your friend. They can add up to 4 mods which will then boost the drop rates of way stones sometimes to crazy numbers. Instead of complaining find ways to improve, if something isnt working think of a solution instead the tools are there.

They were thinking that to be able to progress and sustain they want you to invest into the harder content instead of turning off your brain and cruising? Its quite straightforward.

Are you running white maps or something? I never had a single sustain problem all the way to 8.

After completion you need to get a waystone of that level period just to do it again there is no reward for completing other then being able to go to the next map but if you're only getting low waystones or none whats the point.... sutch a stupid mechanic and never thought abaut.

I even put all atlas points in waystones and still stuck alot with progress...With all the punishments for getting suddenly 1shot its just pure pain and only a matter of time the masses quit

Wait until you hit T13s and you will see. Game is goofy with map drops and I'm specced 100% into waystone drop rates and quality. Currently, i'm out and cannnot progress unless I find a group.

I'm wondering about this too. Apparently upgrading my T1s to T2s was a mistake because now I'm about out of maps.

I did the 10 T1s for the quest and after getting nothing useful figured I should upgrade what I had to T2.

Unless the NPC sells unlimited T1s Imma have to go back and farm more from one of the campaign maps.
