Finished the Story
Finished the story and took my time with killing all the bosses, side quests, etc. Now i need to re-do it again on a harder setting. I know this game will have 6 acts so i'm curious how this will work on upcoming new seasons. Do we really need to finish this same story each and every season, with 6 acts it will be kinda long just to reach end game.

Coming from someone who never really played POE1 how did they work the story. Could you skip parts of the Act's? Maybe they changed it up with new dialog? I know we are far away from this but just curious how this will work.

i haven't played poe 1 in the last two years but it had 8 or 10 acts and you had to play them for every campaign or character (every ladder), i think it is still the same.

you make a new character in league, so just like any other new character you make, you have to complete the entire story from act 1 again.

you expect to just instantly jump to endgame when a league start without all the leveling up?

POE does leagues not seasons.

Every league you start a new character from scratch and play through the campaign. A lesser form of the league mechanic will be incorporated into the camapaign. Leagues completely change the way the game is played....they are often a game within the game. The most substantial league content will be in maps.

Those who do not want to start over can stay in the hell hole which is standard league which they can hope that the league mechanic may someday be added to it. This is called "going core."

There will be no campaign skips, no campaign boosters, you will not be able to transfer characters to leagues. This is your future.

Call me crazy but playing the same acts every single season with maybe slight changes?. I know D4 solved this with you being able to keep waypoints, etc. Unsure if POE2 was doing anything like that for Quality of life. Since you know, it's almost 2025 and no longer 2013.

in poe 1, only the seasonal content changed the campaign (acts) in any way.

yes, you have to go through it all for every character / season, lots of people do not like this about PoE so you never know if that will change one day but; as of now, you gotta do it all again. (in poe 2)

They wont....its already be confirmed they want people to replay the campaign when leagues launch. Accept it now.

This isnt D4. We are telling you how its going to be. Its a completely new start. Then if you start a 2nd character after that then you can share your stash to make leveling easier then.

I enjoy playing it again and finding stuff. I'm doing the campaign on a second character now and with some movement speed boots and knowledge from the first playthrough it's going a lot faster.

from what i have seen, I don't see it as a problem since its only duing leagues they have a good playerbase in PoE.
outside of league the game is "dead" compared to leagues.
