Sorceress Lvl. X Spirit Gem Bug: Can't use level 10 Spirit gems not enough spirit

Is anyone else experiencing a bug where you get to the high enough level to drop level 10 spirit gems and you assign them, they need a reservation of 60 spirit, which i have exactly 60 spirit, but when i socket them they say "not enough spirit reservations" and remain disabled?
When i had the level 1-9 spirit gems for the other ones, I had exactly 30 spirit which they require to be used and i could use them no problem using all of my avd. spirit?
Does anyone know a fix to this?

check the other gems installed on your 60 spirit one. one of them prolly has +10 to spirit on it

Yeah i checked, nothing else is giving or using spirit. I can use my old arctic armour one that take 30 spirit and leaves me with 30/60 avd. But if i socket the always shocking spirit gem in its place, it says that 60/60 isn't enough even though it requires a base of 60 reservations to be turned on.

Put a active Skill gem in "Cast on" and you can activate it.

if the gem is hexblast, socket 1 curse in it - two curses need 90 spirit.
you need to socket a gem, otherwise you cant turn it on.

Yeah not my problem i don't think? This is for the sorceress, trying to use spirit gem skill 'Cast on Shock', it needs 60 spirit to be turned on. If i socket it in place of my last spirit gem, which was Arctic Armour, the 30 spirit reservation is now gone and i have 60/60 spirit yet again, but when i go to activate it it says "not enough spirit", even though it is the only spirit gem i am using and i have the 60 spirit required for the reservation.

So with the arctic armor, does it have an additional support gem? Because that may raise the spirit cost and the tooltip doesn't account for it?

Do any other skill gems have this issue?

Wait i figured it out, you were right Grobi. I need at least 1 Skill gem socketed into the spirit gem to get it to function (NOT a support gem). Thank you!

Yeah i figured it out, for the sorceress you need to put a skill gem into this level 10 (tier 2) spirit buff to get it to function, otherwise it wont work and just say not enough spirit even though spirit has nothing to do with its functionality. Putting a skill gem into the spirit gem seems counter-intuitive.

Well it's "cast on shock" if you don't put anything as a skill in the support it won't cast anything
