Chaos trials

Am i missing something? I am level 45 now and beating the first chaos trial seems impossible to me, the objectives are fine but the MODIFIERS??? the numbers are wayyyy too high, at some point your character gets so debuffed that you cant even beat a normal enemy anymore also don't get me started about that stupid bird boss, actual flawed design

you have to rely on some good RNG to get some debuffs that are not that hard/annoying.

also the bird boss is way too strong. I always pray thats not the one im getting.

both trials are the worst thing i have ever seen in a video game in 30 years, other than the original WOW honor system for pvp.

All trials require a bit of planning.
For chaos ones, there are a lot modifiers that will kill nearly any build, so learn and don't pick those.

For quest trials the easiest approach is probably max your fire and lightning res, then you're free to pick fire or lightning traps and they'll barely even increase the difficulty. That's 2 or 3 "free" debuffs, since fire traps have 2 levels I think, and lightning traps have 3.

do trials 10 lvls later and it's ez pzy. idk why u ppls so hooked up on simple rougelite mechanichs , pretty much ever indie rougelite has debuff modifiers to make game challenging.

Not to brag *brushes shoulder* but I beat it on the second try (lightning deadeye) due to some lucky RNG lol. The first time was a disaster, though. My BF, on the other hand, he spent a good 2 hours trying the trial over and over due to absolute garbage debuff rolls, but finally beat it. Luck plays a pretty huge role unfortunately. Good luck!!!
