NEED HELP! Bought the game on PC (Steam), Sony account linked - Can't play on my PS5

Hey everyone!

I bought the pack on PC through Steam. On the PoE website, my account is linked to my Sony account, yet when I turn on my PS5 and go to PoE 2 - it asks me to purchase it again.

There's a code they sent me in my purchase e-mail, but it's 15 digits long and the PS5 PoE 2 wants a 12 digit code.

I sent a support mail 1 week ago - no answer.

Any ideas what to do? I want to play on my PS5.

You have to purchase it separately for PS5...... You probably get cross progession and thats about it.

Pretty sure sony dont want you to buy games outside their store and let you play games on their platform/console without paying them anything.

you bought a license for PC, not for PS5.

Like the others said, it's a platform licensure issue. You're not doing anything wrong, it's just the way things are.

Well, technically, we own a license to the product but not the actual product. If you want to "own" a software package in this day and age, you're better off throwing in your lot with GoG.com and making sure you have the offline installers downloaded. As far as Sony products go -- get the physical disc version of whatever game it is and you'll have some independence.

you own the licence to play the pc version of this game.
i will not say this is good or bad its just the way it is.
if i buy any ps5 game i also cant play it on steam.

You could just wait until it goes fully live, when its actually free to play, then you wont have to pay anything.
