When I finally killed the first act boss with each of them it got easier and easier. It is a deep game and if you are not in a rush, sell or convert what your find, it will be a fun experience. Once I had the gold it was easier to fix mistakes I made in the passive skill tree. Mapping the strongest skills so they were easier to use as combos helped too. You can do it but you have to use the tools available and also get a bit of luck.
Are ARPG gamers just not good at games?
what about this game is not "slow yet realistic difficulty?"
you should always feel at death's door.
there is no real penalty for dying
you dont lose your items
you dont lose exp
all that you lose is hubris.
adapt improvise overcome.
. . .or go online and complain like a modern day gaymer.
no RPG literally means role playing game
and in this game you role play as a weakling at start. . .
Hero's Journey and all that stuff. . .
The game is designed to be somewhat challenging.
You are exactly the problem with casual gamers. You've offered no insight in to what your problems are, what your build is, you just say "MAKE IT CATER TO ME MORE".
