A lot of you don't understand this.
GGG is owned by Tencent a 800 billion dollar Chinese corporation. That is why PoE has plans to port to mobile and that is why they are charging you to play test their game.

This also explains why you see the 24/7 bots trying to defend it.

Actually, this probably explains why most of the game systems are designed around addiction and gambling rather than being fun and engaging. Every time a big company gets involved in game development,, with few exceptions, the games produced tend to be designed around addiction and micro-transactions.

For POE2 it was built around gambling currency. Pretty wild how bad a system it is and yet the entire game, from the ground up, is built around this. It's like, if the game just dropped cool loot that didnt need much modification, we would all focus on building new characters as we maxed out characters. Instead, they made the game an impossible time sink where you spend ridiculous amounts of time in RNG and Gambling only to end up massively frustrated and ultimately quitting.

This is like business executives designing games 101. It's been done so many times, it's sad to see it hit this series. Oh well, time to move on.

man people are complaining about how hard the game is to play on their 5k gaming system, and you think it's coming to your phone?

It's unfortunate because POE2 is the best ARPG ever made. Will take a while for a better game to come.

How is this the best aRPG ever made? It's literally not even an aRPG. It's a gambling simulator.

POE Gambling:
1. Add RNG item to slot machine.
2. Pull slot machine lever (apply exalt/vaal) and pray.
3. Item gets bricked by horrid low roll stat.
4. Go back to the RNG hunt.

I mean, this is likely to get the reward for the WORST game mechanic ever made.

I'm just peddling the truth. It's the glaring reason people are realizing this game isn't good. It is the reason the loot sucks. It is the reason the game feels too challenging for most people. aRPGs are all about the loot grind. POE2 adds an extra layer of grinding to your grinding in the form of gambling. This added layer doesn't make the game better.

What it does do is get the gambling addicts hooked, and then Tencent will get more MTX. That's what's happening here.

Level Zero. So they basically created a steam account just to come here on damage control. This person is on the payroll for sure.
