Seriously Drops are TRASH IN THIS GAME

I am done.

I have been playing it for 15 hours.
ZERO uniques. ZERO DECENT RARES. NOTHING. only CRAP.

I could barely get past Act 1 boss cause i dont do ANY DAMAGE cause my gear is TRASH. I had to use my couple orbs to upgrade my blue stuff to yellow and get a bit of damage and barely got through (the mobs when the mist comes obviously the boss mechanics are not hard but if you cant kill the mobs fast enough you die)

And now i am at Jamanra the king or something and it takes me 6-7 minutes to get him to low health only for him to summon mobs which equals death. i can not IMAGINE this fight is supposed to take this long which means my damage is WAY WAY WAAAAY too low.

I havent seen a single decent item.
In POE1 you could get higher level weaspons which would improve your DAMAGE since the actual damage output would go up even if the suffixes were bad!! In this game all your damage is based on the suffixes! So since i play Sorceress that means i need Spell Damage and the like for the damage to go up Ideally +1/2 levels for fire/frost/lightning damage but i have seen zero of those! Thats all i am relaying on... Higher level items are not better AT ALL if they dont have that. They have a higher level skill to use sure but i have been unlucky and keep getting mage drain on my main stuff nothing useful anyhow. I could get lvl 6 lightning bolt but the damage of all my other skills would become even lower!

This also means i can not get minions / turrets in (or decent auras) since that is based on Spirit. I only got 30 so i can run one aura and no minions. If i want more of it i need to run a sceptre but all the suffixes on there seem to be to improve your minions. > you cant decently run minions to distract minions if you dont play the witch class or you have to focus your entire playstyle on it. In 1 you could just decide to devote one of your armor pieces to a minion skill... here you are literally confined to using stuff for sorceress. None of it does any decent damage it takes AGES for him to come down in health.
Not very well balanced. I am lvl 21 or something and i have 3 yellow items 2 of which i upgraded myself from blue. The only yellow item i got / use is a ring everything else is blue...

lmao it's painfully obvious you rushed then since there are side bosses that give you 30 spirit extra, not to mention you can get it on armor and all sceptres give you extra spirit, which I believe baseline is 100.

Stop trying to use minions if you're not gonna use the weapon made for it.. which is off handing the sceptre. THis just sounds like a build issue, sorry.

I believe there are two quests for +30 spirit, act 1 and 3.

I believe its chest, scepter and amulet, but chest and amulet seem super rare for spirit buff.

Best scepter ive seen is 36, but it was also a malice scepter..so not ideal.

This, but took me to NG+ to get a scepter with more than 130 spirit@+20 quality, I've gotten 2 necks with 15 spirit, but lost too many stats to use chest +41 spirit best I've gotten. I think I have like 265 total.

lvl 27 and i have still magic and few rare items but lvl 0 or 4 ROFL nothing better drop.No one with socked drop in this game is terrible bad and super bored.And best is when after kill last boss in acts adn drop ZERO hahahah.

At about 14 hours in. Act 2 now. My Ranger has nearly full yellows, gone through multiple double socketed bows, and stash is full of yellow gear for other classes. 1-2 shot every boss so far. None seem super hard.

You must be extremely unlucky.

Do not shy to exalt the items if you manage to get "+ to level" magic gear and 2 next good mods for your build. I like POE 2 more than POE 1 because the exalt orb drop is more common now.

Vendors and orbs are your best friends. Don't have ♥♥♥♥? Make ♥♥♥♥. That is how I got through dry periods with ease. Don't even bother to min-max. Just use what you have for now to make whatever it is your are lacking because at the end orbs and whatnot will literally rain anyway. That is when you can start min-maxing.

personally i like it actual with LVL 60 that drops are kind of rare ( i mean really good ones) it feels more rewarding when you get it, i hate games like D4 where you get 24342421 drops in 10 Minutes

15hours damn in d4 i already have with that time max lvl, 200 uniques and stash is full with other noneed nosens stuff for my "hold 1 button build"

I'd rather uniques didn't rain in this game, let's have them as, uh, uniques?
As long as things are doable while wearing non-uniques (and they are, for the most part) I think it's fine.
I'd rather not see another "Loot 2.0" diablo 3 which replaced blues with yellows and yellows with oranges.

and no, i'm not saying "skill issue", the drops are rather weak in this game, like holy crap crap, but if you just go around more whacking some enemies you WILL get things you can use, eventually.

Ahahahaha HAHAAHAH . NO. New players just drop into a trap with this PoE 2 hype. They do not know mechanics. And also it's not skill but bad designed beginner boss ultra high HP issue. Let me tell you something as a veteran PoE 1 player. Cruel difficulty was much easier for me than Normal 1-3 acts. Why? Ask yourself Why. It is skill issue?!? NO ! It's item drop rate for beginner area against over difficulty bosses. If you get enought talent tree points along with better gears you can get overcome anything else after that. New players just doesn't know it!

Game shouldn't be ultra difficult when you start a game. Difficulty should risen step by step. You throw players with a stick and naked against end-game bosses kind. This is not a soul-like kind game where GGG set a great trap to call this game is aRPG's soul kind. And people drop it. If you a veteran PoE 1 player you should know this. This game will be easier if you already know what you should do. So, this game is not beginner-friendly where GGG was doing great mistake. If they want to add more new players into Exile world they should reconsider their politics for this game.
