Most people only group up with the sole purpose of generating currency at endgame.
Only group up with people you trust and have an agreement in place.
because permanent loot allocation is already a feature you can turn on or off???
if something dropped for your monk "buddy" then it is his loot, he worked for it, it dropped for him, it is not yours until he gives it to you, simple as.
you don't complain that your "buddy" doesn't give you a portion of his paycheck every week do you??
Loot is shared, not instanced. When loot drops, it’s protected for a few seconds so no one can grab it. After that, whoever grabs it first gets to keep it. You’ll have to talk with your allies to figure out who gets to grab what!
buddy I wasn't talking to you.
no sh*t, there is not instanced loot, and there never will be thank Chris Wilson.
"because permanent loot allocation is already a feature you can turn on or off???"
Sure seemed like you were the one who didn't know so i tried to help.
good lord how much of "main character syndrome" does one have coming into a thread posting off topic and thinking all the replies are to them and not the OP. . .
OP was clearly talking about loot alocation and his desire for loot rules other than what he thought was the only option. . .
I disagree. Slowly strolling around gigantic maps thrashing mobs after mobs solo is just way too boring. Coop adds some complexity that makes for more fun.
"Ending a friendship" would never happen over loot if they were your friends. If someone rages over loot, they're not worth keeping around anyways, and thanks for PoE for bringing that out before you spent any more time with them.
