Have I reached endgame???

I suddenly found myself back in the starting area, except the mobs there are now my level. The individuals are the same, the quests are the same. It happened after the last big boss fight and something was said about gaining the help of the guy I was fighting to fight the beast. I went through the gateway, and ended back up on the beach. So...am I now going through all of the previous acts and content, except this time at a higher level, or is this just a component of the game that moves the story forward?

thats not the endgame it's like close to midway

It's a filler since they haven't completed the last 3 acts yet. You play the first 3 again and then strat into endgame.

Its early access act 4-6 will be coming at full release they just put in the chaos versions of 1-3 in for 4-6 until release then the mapping is the real end game after that.

The structuring of the game is thus on release: Acts 1-6, then end game.
The structuring of the game in EA is this : Acts 1-3, Acts 1-3 cruel mode, then end game. So congrats, you make it to mid game.

Endgame mapping is designed to start at level 65. Since the game isn't complete yet, you finish Act 3 at level 45. The repeating on Cruel difficulty is strictly buffer content to get you to 65 for endgame. In the full release you'll go through Acts 1-6, naturally be at level 65, then start mapping.
