!!---> FPS ISSUES READ THIS <---!!
If you launch the game and it is getting sub 30 fps in the main menu, your game may have compiled the shaders wrong. I was able to fix this by deleting the shaders from my Nvidia GPU shader cache

Your shader cache (for Nvidia cards) is here:
<main system drive>:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\GLCache\

delete the contents of that folder and relaunch the game. It will be forced to recompile the shaders. For me I went from 19fps on the main menu to 117fps after doing that.

didn't do it for me. i get insane lag all the time and the only thing that is spiking is my shaders. the cpu and gpu are fine and i can get up to 160 fps but anytime im using an ability for the first time of a play session or enemies attack or im loading the map by just walking around i get under 15 fps. ive tried everything.

This is EXACTLY WHERE I AM.... so mad... On launch the game was fine. After the CoF nerf i have 100 fps then down to 20 when im just exploring fog of war.

Same. Performance is really bad suddenly.

RTX 3060 TI
I5 12400f
32gb RAM
1440P Monitor

Below 50fps. Shooting abilities or engage mobs, 30fps

did you get anywhere with this? Im similar spec to you and cant run maps due to constant fps drops
You cannot compile "wrong". You compile them or you don't. You can't compile something "wrong". 🤦‍♂️

A BSoD is always an indication of a PC problem. Overheating or electrical issues, most likely.
A game cannot BSoD a PC voluntarily of by accident.

Nope. End game is badly optimised for me.

Even when killing an Elite I lose 20fps randomly

Depending on how a game access your recourse, it actually can BSOD your PC.

How did Cyberpunk brick PlayStation 4??
This is still an issue in POE1. Wild that it someone is also in POE2...

Makes me think it's a Unity/engine issue.

POE1 and 2 is ran on their own engine. It's Win 11 and not a GGG problem

not sure if it will help with frame rate, but this helped me with stutters.

If you are on an nvidia card, run nvidia profile inspector and make sure the correct profile is being used. For some reason, Nvidia tries to use the poe1 profile, even though a poe2 profile exists.
