Or
Respec all your warrior skill points into totems, look for +3 to melee skills weapons. Get giants blood passive so you can dual wield them. And play a heavy armored earth shaman. Mine is level 41 and the totems hit for 2.1k
He's in A1 and won't have access to more than 1 totem yet not to mention +3 melee skills weapons lol.
OP - it's not hard, farm up a bit (maybe look for +rarity items at the vendors) and learn boss moves to not get hit.
roll ice witch and the witch in the hut in the first few opening areas, they drop yellows like cray cray. Scrap em for upgrades, grind etc later in act till get gear in a better place.
Playing split screen war with my friend, spent a lot of time just fing around shooting the ♥♥♥♥ and rerolling same first few areas till we got through rest of act 1. Like og diablo games, elden rang etc right man, if put some upfront investment in your char early on, pays dividends as move past first act(major boss in FROM game case, but get the point)
Like guess main point being here, and I dunno how playstyle is, but um...wouldnt be rushing campaign to get to maps right. Take your time, work each zone like thats all the game has before move on etc.
Oh, and focus on gear gets res's up. Again, like older arpgs, and why next diff always feels like a joke versus first run on normal: Have a build with resistances.
imo - any other class is easier to start than warrior
Personaly with my monk I did couple of improvement from the craft and did some little leveling.
I was level 17 when i finished act 1 boss ( If we speak of the same one).
I was stuck like 4 or 5 time, and i improve my gems, use some craft to put a gems on my weapon and put a stone inside it; I upgrade the quality of couple of my armor and weapons, and use some craft material to upgrade my rings and belt into magic gear with two lines.
After that I learned the patern on the second phase of the boss and I beat him at the second try without to much of difficulty.
Hope it will help you.
You need to make sure you have as much flat damage on your weapon, and also on your rings or gloves - check the vendor in town for better gear.
Also some cold resistance is very welcome on this fight.
I'm in Act3 Cruel now and I'm having a blast as Warrior/Titan!
Once you get Perfect Strike you can do a lot more Damage to Bosses. I killed the Act 1 Boss on my 2nd try. Once you Stun him you can do the Strike and it drains his Health.
Always make sure you have Gear. Armour, Life. Resistances.
At this stage of the game you gotta focus on either out-damaging the boss or lean on shield and defense to be able to tank those hits reasonably well.
And resistances are important no matter what.
Try to check vendors or market for this.
I have the same problem in act 2 with warriror, but only for fire now
There is a skill which gives you two totems.
I unlocked it in act 1.
I gave them more damage but smaller range.
Spam this on bosses all the time.
