what items are you doing it on? like what rarity. keep in mind also that that quality % it is changes the liklihood of you getting a favorable outcome.
The best part about vaal orbs is when it destroys your item.
Exact same boat here. I guess I bricked an item then.
Which is why the best practice is to only use them as the VERY last thing you do to an item because you won't be able to modify the item anymore.
I used one on an item the other day and it rerolled all the suffix mods, removing the only good affix the item had.
So if you can't easily replace something you should think long and hard if you really want to risk it for a chance at one additional affix that could be anything.
The safest thing to do with them right now is to use them on your skill gems since gems are common and corrupted gems can still be leveled up. If you get lucky, your gem'll get another socket and Vaal's are WAY cheaper than Greater Jeweler's orbs.
