Any reason why there isn't an auction house like in poe1 on consoles

For every single item. Yes you could even buy a mageblood there.

Tbh the moment I noticed that this was a thing I played poe only on consoles.

This tiny thing saves you like 80% of your actual playtime. It was like a gamechanger.

Put something in your storage for b/o price, - if someone buys it you get the currency either instantly or while offline.

It's just stupid and disrespectful to the time of customers.

There is a currency exchange which helps quite a bit, but an auction house for gear has never been a thing for PC.

Yeah maybe I am really pampered with the console version but the poe2 realease with the trading website is just a terrible time waster for no reason, - especially because GGG showed that it does actually work with an auction house and offline trading on consoles.


I can't even fathom why they made the decision to not include it in poe2 from the get go.

From a game developer's point of view - all the arguments offered there as company ideology are brutal nonsense.
Modern gaming realities don't require bullying players. It's 2025 (almost), not 1995.
Oh, and the “manifesto” itself was written in 2017.
The game needs a convenient way of in-game trading without visiting third-party sites.

daoc solved this by adding housing and house trader npcs. the buyer can search but had to walk to the house to buy it. took them like 10-20 minutes to get there, huge zone.

you would not waste time for crap.
