Faster start of Energy Shield help

Is there a cap for Faster start or is there a point where i dont need to invest any more into it? My char currently has 277% Faster start and my ES takes about 1 second to start recharging, with 377% the delay feels the same so im wondering if there's a cap like recharge delay will never be less than 1 second?

i dont think there will be a cap. but the time you save by increasing the % will probably get so negligible that it probably wont matter anymore

The closest thing is Zealots oath, but you need %hp regen for it to work and not ES recharge rate.

Well, then you would always have an energy shield and defeat the purpose of the recharge delay...

thats what Faster Start of energy shield recharge is for tho but i guess the delay cant be removed completely without using Zealots Oath as mentioned before

you are already past some sweet spot.

0% is 4 seconds
100% faster is 2 seconds
300% faster is 1 second

with that formula you will need 700% faster start of nergy shield recharge to be at 0.5 seconds so after 300% its kind of ridiculous.

Answer is yes, flat also works, and Zealots Oath does remove the delay so its acting like Life/MP regen

Yes,I ment % is the best option because usually you got way more ES than Life, I havent tried this in poe 2, but overall it's looking way weaker than in poe1, less items that regen %, less nodes, you can go for 0.3% rune regen, regen life per sec suffix, and for the amulet you can go for Relentless, Titans Determination or Hard to Kill, also depends on the class, you might take something else.

So basically, the formula is:
recharge_delay = 4 / (1 + delay_modifier%) in seconds.

Given 277%, your recharge start delay is 4 / (1 + 2.77) = 1,06 sec.
The plot is basically a hyperbola, which asymptotically moves to 0, but never reaches it.
Improvement shrinks as delay modifier grows.
Going from 277% to 377% gives you only -0.22 seconds to recharge start delay.

There are also alternative sources to get energy shield, like Grim Feast buff (use uncut spirit gem to create one). It might help if you have enough intelligence and spirit.
