GGG hard nerfing builds making me go back to Diablo 4

Wouldnt be an issue if they would give free respecs at least. This wannabe elitism when it comes to builds has to stop. Its just bad game design. Like, give players after every Act an Item to respec once for free would be enough.

Its EA in the sense that you are just getting EARLY access. NOT EA in the sense of you supporting a half baked game till its fully released. I know this is a hard concept to understand.

If you played poe 1 at all youd know this already because they have had to many many times nerf popular builds LIVE MID LEAGUE to prevent players abusing a clearly broken build that would further cause damage to the games economy.

ggg don't do nerfs mid league unless it's some seriously game breaking stupid stuff, otherwise LS trickster would have been gutted in Settlers league, but my trickster is still there, still 25k es, still facetanking everything in the game and filling the entire screen with projectiles.
if they didn't want people experimenting and giving feedback to improve the game, this wouldn't be EARLY ACCESS, it would just be the 1.0 full release, ♥♥♥♥♥ christ.

Congrats your 1 build never got nerffed kid, Doesnt change the fact that theyve still dropped nerfs IDENTICAL to this in the live game 3 seasons in a row.
Its pretty clear the EA for this title was a good will gesture to the fans that bought supporter packs and to iron out game breaking bugs. /spoiler they did just that.

Its crazy to me that half the game isn't even in the game yet, but people act like the devs took their family hostage. How dare you not let me do 1 million dps in a game where most bosses dont even break 400k hp till 60.

yeah my 1 build, definitely don't have/had multiple other builds that were just as busted even after nerfs/adjustments, but even then this is a really bad faith argument because poe1 is a full release game that has a pretty set in stone economy on trade league, of course any build that just decimates everything with little to no investment is going to get tapped down to be more reasonable, people should expect that and if they get burnt by it, boohoo.
this is a bloody early access game that isn't even released yet, doesn't have an economy, no one know what things are worth, none of it is carrying over to the full game - so why effectively punish players who find broken interactions/poorly balanced combos by just completely destroying that build, invalidating that character and giving them no ability to reset without just starting a brand new character and slogging through the campaign again?

It does sound like some of them complain about it, which is rather sad, but most people complain about being stuck with build that requires respec to be functional and it costs a lot.
Which I find fair, respec is not cheap and they still have whole issue of changing gear and skills that they would have to do on their own,.
