especially when i allocate north side of atlas and take all drop higher tier waystone node.

Upgrade them to blue to increase your chances to get more. If you ran out, you can always craft them using 3 of a lower tier, you can buy them even from the vendor at lvl 1 and go up as a last resource.

Even with tower influence and Atlas passives that boost waystone drop rate, the map sustain is still bad, at least from my experience.

Imagine T11 map drop T2 waystone, that's not okay, and what am I going to do with that T2, lol!

Agree, the map sustain is terrible, while doing waystones 6 you get waystones 1 if lucky. This needs to be fixed. There are some ways to increase your chances combining Atlas skills with rare waystones while doing bosses but it's too convoluted. Maps should drop waystones at least of the same level of the map or above and the drop chance should be increased x5

Yes, waystone drops are problematic in the start, even if you take optimal route in atlas skill tree, with tier up% and waytone drop chance
