If you think melee is too hard.
I just found there IS accuracy stat. At act 3 i had ~60% chance to hit normal enemy. And there is no accuracy stat if you look character info with gamepad interface! Also advance info for skills not so easy to find.
When i began to play i was glad because it was struggle to get high accuracy in POE1 and i thought GGG removed it from POE2.
My build is fire and mace and there is no accuracy nodes in the western part of the skilltree. Its almost like some sort of hidden mechanic.
After i got some respec and grab Resolute Technique it feels like a different game.
So if you feel like you do no damage in melee - bost your dex, grab accuracy nodes and try again. You'll be surprised. Why developers hide such important stat - i have no idea.

Accuracy in melee is not hidden....there's a reason why Resolute Technique is in the melee section of the tree. There are also numerous accuracy nodes in the melee section.

In my defense - it's hard to navigate skill tree or menues with gamepad or from smartphone.
There should be accuracy and chance to hit on character info screen.
Earlier I wrote dreadnought area was unfun due to auto aim mess or monsters evade and block while stunned. It happens I just miss. I feel like an idiot.

idk if you know this yet but if you press G and go to the gems menu, there is an arrow next to each skill that tells you all the info that is missing from the character sheets

With gamepad its - skill menu - A on skill - advanced info. When usually you interact with skills with X.
