This is PoE, that exp loss just gets harder the higher lvl you get.

Yep and you lose the map. Welcome to POE. It's why most people don't even attempt to go to level 100. I usually start a new character around 95-97.

at what level does xp loss start? I have checked many times when I died if I loose any and havent lost ♥♥♥♥ yet (im only level 29 or something though)
