POE2 Uninstall
I've grown weary of getting frustrated with my games. I’m past the age for this.
When I spend money on something, my goal is enjoyment. Yet this game has made me more irritable in just two days than I was all last year.
That boss in Act II is complete nonsense. The lack of currency drops, decent items, and any tools to tackle that level is a major issue for me. How can you expect players to overcome challenges without providing them the necessary resources?
Do you want me to jump into the game myself and defeat the boss manually? Good grief.
I simply don’t want to experience this anymore. It's stressful and harmful, not just to me, but to those around me who witness my frustration over something that's supposed to be lighthearted fun.
With all that said, I'm done.

There seems to be a lot of people in the discussions that hate on people who dislike the game. My online guild has quit playing POE2 and gone back to POE1. It isnt the successor some of us wanted.

Fanboys quickly took over Poe2. They felt very elitist that they reached the endgame. The game was supposed to be for everyone, that's how they sold it, but it's not. The game is slow, poorly balanced, many people convince themselves that they relax while playing Poe2, but in reality most people are looking for: what's so spectacular here, what people are happy about. The herd mentality, here of fanboys, has a big impact. Think about it for a moment. If Poe2 is crap (and it is for many), what are they left with? They are left with nothing, that's why they hold on to it so tightly. There's no point in trying to convince yourself, the game is not good at this stage.

Well, looks like the game is not yours then, for once, PoE is challenging and also, it's Early Access, so it is right now unbalanced on many parts, that means some parts may look to hard (that said, at least until Act II there is nothing really too hard), that means the next patch can break your char. But I don't think this has anything to do with age, I'm over 40 and having my fun.

And people say it mostly in sarcasm (and in general put out a nearly infantile hate for it), but Diablo IV really might be something for you then. Fast paced gameplay, normal mobs die easily in masses, bosses don't neet too long, most of them at least, there are some harder ones, and loot wise it's the other extreme around, so much, that starting from torment difficulty anything below legendary gets auto-dismantled. Also it's far better in telling it's story than PoE, I have to say (that was and is for me the main selling point). It lacks in character customization (far away from the level of PoE here) and the endgame never could bind me for too long and I'm also not a season player, but still, I enjoyed especially playing the campaign and then clearing the map a bit afterwards, farming a bit of equipe and rising the difficutlies. And from time to time just playing for a bit, for that, D IV is a totally fine game.

Change to controller. If you are already using a controller disregard.

IT IS IN EARLY ACCESS....wait and see how the changes come and when they do, there will be plenty of changes to mechanics and balancing yet, SO try having patience instead of whining and giving up.
Also idk if you put the same post up twice now because you had to re-post it, OR if you just flat copied it because you are too lazy to even lodge your own complaint lol but i have already said the same thing on an IDENTICAL POST.

PoE 2 is first recent aRPG that I actually enjoy, love that you have to actively play it instead of disabling your thinking and just spamming one button to clear whole screen. When you get to later levels it gets some of that feeling back but then it is good, makes you feel like you actually worked for the power you wield. Sad seeing lots of people not enjoying it but I understand since its different a lot from first one.

I do agree its not necessary to be rude towards the people that finds the game to hard and boring cause of it, but you can't go online and put your thoughts on the game and don't expect people to disagreeing/agree with you or argue with you without a filter especially when you put your own ideas on why it isn't working even tho its just a personal experience. You could have legit just uninstalled and moved on with your day without speaking your mind on the topic.

Also age has very little to do with you not being able to read a situation in a boss fight and adapting to it, everything in life has a learning curve if you don't wanna bother learning don't blame your age blame your determination/game sense to get better / get something done.
The large majority of people playing these type of games are 30+, sure our reaction time is worse but you are never to old to learn or get better.

Too much hate? Let me stop you here for a few minutes. Those same people who put on 'too much hate' skipped the part where... hmm... let's see... it's (early access.) The game went live before its completion—this is mostly a balancing/finalizing phase. Nothing is perfect yet. The game has many stability issues, let alone gameplay. The hate started by posting without putting any of that in mind, so you're ok with that, but not ok with people responding...

Isn't the successor some of us wanted... It's too early to judge.

And - responding to OP - I would simply say two words: Skill Issues. PoE2 is more forgiving in terms of respecing than PoE1, If a boss is very tough, one would the most clever thing anyone would do in a similar game: backtrack, grind, power-up, respec, watch vids for tips, try again, repeat until profit. If you're too old for this, perhaps Mario or Tetris is more your speed... oh wait, ANY game can be frustrating. Just find a new hobby.

I was also disappointed in the game, there is absolutely nothing to enjoy it. Who the hell was interested in the rustless mode in PoE 1. I didn't see any showcases for the first part, with an emphasis on the fact that there is rustless or they are improving the content for it. Why did they make a hybrid of Diablo and Dark Souls in the setting of PoE rustless mode, why did they find it interesting? Well, fans of the old Diablo and rustless mode are probably happy, my condolences to the rest
