What he says. Check if you don't have your fps limited. In game options or outside.
This one fixed my low fps. Might worth to try, but it's orientated on cpu low output
Should have to go through all that only to play a game we paid for. They should fix their damn game.
for real ? dont you know the game is not fully out ?
1. Enable High performance mode in windows (allow the cpu to work without heavy power restrictions)
2. Make sure the display update frequency (hz or call it fps if you like - same thing :)) is set properly in windows/drivers and that the game dont have fps limiters enabled.
3. Enable vsync in the amd/nvidia app and have it disabled in all games and let the driver handle that (if you want vsync that is...) - Way smoother fps in most games as the driver seems to handle that waaay better than the games/engines do
4. Make sure you run without bloat apps/overlays/performance monitor/motherboard software etc that usually have no benefits beside slowing the system down
Have pretty much 120 stable fps (on a 120hz display with vsync on), cpu is a 7800x3d thoo
I've been thinking what can be a reason for fps cap, like maybe some technical bug on GGG side that can be fixed later.
But one message here prompted me to check my Bus Interface in GPU-Z/Nvidia control panel.
Turned out that instead of x16 it was identified as x1.
I'm not savvy what exactly that meant, but came to conclusion that my GPU's capabilities must be limited by this issue.
So first thing I updated my BIOS and...EVERYTHING GOT FIXED.
It's x16 and DX12 now runs with no issues!
so check your Bus interface info first.
I have significantly more FPS after i upgraded to AMD from Nvidia. had 3070ti got RX 7900
Also FSR NO-Upscaling looks significantly better than Nvidia DLSS in this game
