It's actually really aggressive too. I swear I have an easier time when I'm the same level as the zone rather than being 30+ levels over the zone and trying to help a friend through it.
It feels really good imo, you're stronger than low level friends but not THAT much stronger that you instakill everything. They did a good job.
Yep. The downside is the lower level player won't get experience. If you just want to get them through a tough area and don't care if they level up, though, then it can be useful.
With Scaling on, I struggled real hard to kill the act 1 boss in normal. He simply wouldnt take damage fast enough - but when I fought bosses on my own in Act 3 I would face melt them.
So yes, I feel Scaling is heavily punishing and most likely needs some fine-tuning. Cause right now you'll just suffer with Scaling on for little reason (tested with a 16 level difference)
