Venom Draught Questline
I understand choices should have repercussions, and I support that being the case. However, I'm a bit bummed that I can't swap these out like I can the act 2 buff. So, obviously I'm going to very likely parrot what a lot of people are likely stating... It'd be a nice change to make these adjustable. Or allow people who haven't even reached endgame the ability to adjust it until a point? Maybe have some tedious respec-mission/quest that one could perform, even if it's a >1hr long venture, to rectify any regrettable mistakes?

I went with stun threshold, so I don't feel too bad about it, but I think everybody would agree that the element ailment threshold is the best choice, and that's how I feel after finishing act 3.

I also imagine once I get into the Chaos part, that the chaos resist is the best choice.

Ultimately though, I actually see a world where the developers recognize the difference of quality in these rewards, and balance them with one another, offering the quest to be re-completed after doing so. 10% chaos resist vs +5 to attributes? Maybe i'm an idiot, but that's like asking if you wanna live in a 5-bedroom house or just the backseat of a car?

I support this idea. Read it another thread aswell. Hopefully they will adjust to this or just not make it one time vials but a permanent "use this figurine buff" like in act 2, as u said.

Iam currently thinking if i should have picked manaregen. the whole game is very adjustable and iam good with the option to have a fixed ascendancy > just pick wise / know your build.

Tbh iam not a big fan of the act2 buff mechanic aswell. It doesn't fit into the game and seems like a small implementation someone thought this might be good.

My opinion: Just leave it with
1. Passive Skills
2. Ascendancies
3. One-Time-Rewards like Skillpoints/Resistance and such
4. Your usual Equipment- and Gem-Build

No need for any other extras. At least not now.
I played POE1; but a long time ago so i dont know if POE1 has a anything less or more like this.

Indeed but with recepies you had the possibility to change your choice later.

Yeah, it's weird that you have such a permanent choice in just some Quest line. I thought that I could just do it multiple times to get all of the bonuses eventually.
I don't think it'll matter in the long run, but it's a strange thing to have in an ARPG.
