8 max equippable skills?

There are numerous ways to get additional skill slots as well as free skills that dont use the existing one up.

Such examples are: The Infernalist's Pet Doggo & the Unset Rings.

i dont think some skills need to be slotted in order to work. like auras or maybe cast on xxx skills?

also not sure what you are trying to say but in case you didnt know u can get 5 more skills by holding ctrl

He said, what is the point of having less skill slots than keybinds for skills.
He didn't ask for 5 more keybinds for skills, he did the opposite.

My man that's what i'm talking about, they give you so many hotkeys for skills but you can't equip more than 8 by normal means

there's many ways to get extra skills. i have 13 slots. 3 came from gemling legionaire. i honestly couldn't even tell you where i got the other 2, gear or on the skill tree somewhere. stopped paying attention since i only have 9 equipped

weapons give one skill. Shield another. You have unset ring (+2 skills with 2 rings). Ascendancy skills. Gemling soldier 3 extra skill. Unique item skills... You can have far more skills than binding.

i was just thinking how awesome it is to be able to use and add support gems to so many skills. massive improvement to what you can do from POE1.

I don't really see the reason for the limit in the first place. At least let us have more slots, or give us a bag or something for all the gems we want to swap out without having to go to the stash.
