Dropping items to npcs or stash is annoying

Who came up with CTRL+Mouseclick for that?
Is there no better way to move your items just to the other side of your UI?
I mean should it not be obvious if I have an vendor open I want to sell it or move it to stash when the window UI is open!?
Also who in the hell why is the game not smart enough that when I have a currency tab and move my item to stash it KNOWs that it should go to the currency tab and not an normal stash! I always have to browse to that stupid tab first. So annoying.

Go to currency tab, right click the top, move cursor to bottom, tick the check next to "currency"

Congrats it now works from all tabs

Double click to equip iirc, shift is split stack, alt is mouseover, what other combination to move to open inventory is there besides ctrl + click or dragging?

Sounds like a user error to me. All you have to do is activate the currency affinity for the currency stash tab and all the currency you ctrl+click will always go into that currency tab. It works the same with every other special stash tab as well and you can evenm set affinities on regular stash tabs in case you do no thave the special stash tab.

Also, what is your problem with ctrl+click? What else would you want other than ctrl+click to directly move items? All other potential things, like alt or shift click are already in use.

ok but then you still have to click two fing buttons which are on two different devices to just move ONE simple logical item from one window to the other.

ok thanks, I know I am a noob when it comes to PoE but this should be automatically, why is there an extra step to make an currency tab an currency tab. Well.
Still, I am used to righ-click to move an item from my inventory to WHATEVER window I have open on the other side. Its one button and its fast. I know nitpicky and 5th world problem. But such things just annoy me.
