How does SSF work exactly?
Was wondering if my SSF character would be able to party up with friends and potentially share loot and stuff.

Nop you will be solo adventuring. But you can play standard and just apply the SSF rules

That's not how ssf works. Ssf stands for solo self found, meaning you do everything solo and only self found gear
