PoE2's PC-Shutdown error
Hello there Everyone,

So as the title says, we have this error on my GF's PC, which is, btw, brand new, not even a year old.

SPECS:
GPU: ASRock RX7600 Challenger (8GB VRAM)
PSU: MSI MAG A750GL PCIE5 750W
Motherboard: MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
RAM: 2x16 Kingston FURY Beast DIMM (3200 MHz)
Also, a Samsung 980 250 GB SSD to support games and OS.

I've already checked the forums, from PoE to Steam, and this problem is global.

Usually it happens during boss fights, but also happened while teleporting.
Others suggested that its because the game uses sometimes more than 100% CPU. So i've checked this BES limiter for PoE2, but still got the sudden shutdown.

Every driver is up to date, no other game did this ever, even D4 ran smoothly, which is more poorly optimized IMO.

Hardware pressure test also ran on the machine - everything works smoothly.

Also disabled BIOS settings for CPU overclocking, just to make it sure. And i played with power level modes also - nothing helps.

At this point it's really frustrating, because its unpredictable. No matter what settings we use, the game still crashes, even though, the PC should be more than fitting IMO.

Did anyone find anything useful? or, is this info somehow reached the Devs, by any possibility? It should be handled if its an issue with PoE2, but as i see the other forums, it is.

Ok, so as i've expected, no one replies, but to other posts with almost the exact same description, yes.

THX everyone.
Oh, wait a minute - nope. Sorry, no thanks for nothing.

Bro, so many threads are being made, sometimes threads snow under the amount. Stop being entitled to an answer and blaming others for it.

Last time i've checked we were not Bros...but okay.
Also strange that if i add a mini message like this, someone will show up, like you, telling similar things. IDK what is wrong nowadays with Steam community,

In the end, you are right, but its also strange to me that others are making poorly described threads here, and instantly have 34.743 answers, while i added a highly described post an 0 answers.

Is there any bugs with Steam forums, or what?
Or just people like just to f*ck with each other through short messages and that's the point, or what?

Nevermind - do you have anything to add to this issue, or nope?

You need to chill. So hostile for someone looking for help/answers. A simple google search would have saved you time. Google is hard to do with a computer that's not even a year old though. Insert eye roll memes.

1, what cooler do you have on that 5800x ?
2 what cpu temps are you getting in game (during boss fights, in town etc.)
3. software used for stress testing?

I legitimately had a solution for you because I had the same issues but after this reply you can kick rocks

1. first she had a smaller cooler, but after checking the specs, we've switched to a bigger and better one. right now it's a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE. The CPU temp is not even reaching 50 celsius.
2. usually the 50-or-above is typical.
3. we used OCBASE/OCCT, 2 times, actually. i'm also planning to try another one, (MSI, for example), but so far, every change i did in the machine is worthless.

An issue with Ryzen cpus, not much can be done other than wait until ggg figures it out and patches it.

Also you are saying in your post that the game is crashing but your OP post is saying PC is crashing. Which is it

You need to chill. So hostile for someone looking for help/answers. A simple google search would have saved you time. Google is hard to do with a computer that's not even a year old though. Insert eye roll memes.

hostility leaves in your head only. More precisely - you added an internal voiceline which is rude.
skipping the fact that i used 1 word with a * is not making it hostile. So please, enough of the pony-fragile-show; if someone experiencing this issue will understand also the frustration, when you start a boss and the PC shuts down.
Or, if you just enter a portal...and the PC shuts down.

I must also add that i'm an IT engineer for 10+ years, so i'm kinda looking forward for straight answers only, circling around the actual problem itself.

So if this is too hostile for you, be my guest and skip this chat.

Also, have a good holiday season...or something.

OK. Pretty sure you are just posting to be argumentative. GL OP

If you are asking about the inbuilt-windows-stuff, it says that Ryzen Master stopped with an error. It doesn't specify anything and it's the only one in the entire log tree which could be an issue.
Based on my research, this Ryzen Master is responsible for overclocking your CPU and handling that, precisely. That's why i disabled the core boost options in BIOS.

I also did a search for anything new regarding drivers, but nothing came out of it, meaning: it's still not the hardware, but the software which makes issues.

I'm pretty sure that the problem is located with the CPU-overusage-thing what others described. simultaneously i'm checking the PoE forums and still, now valid points. :S
