Cruel Act 2 Ascent to Power Bug

Cruel Act 2 Ascent to power quest continues to ask me to travel to Traitor's Passage to find more information about the Barya that I already claimed from the boss. I am unable to go to the trial area as it is still greyed out. I went back to this location 3 times already, fully clearing it each time. Am I just screwed on ascendancy currently?

You need the drop for the Trial of the sekhemas to ascend. It was just the area you'd usually find it. It can pretty much drop anywhere I noticed, I had one drop in a completely different area.

HOWEVER. Don't bother with it in cruel if you already did ultimatum ( trial of chaos ) to get your 3rd and 4th points. You will not get anything for doing 2 floors in Trails of the Sekhemas. I do recommend running it regardless to get some relics that can help make future runs easier.

Yea, I had this too. I did that in cruel and didn't realize I never killed them in normal campaign, so im pretty sure the quest is bugged. Kind of wish I could hide it.

So I killed the cruel version before regular version, went back to regular, killed, got the ascendancy, but the quest is still on screen.

Im doing everything in order, I guess just ignore it till I get a Barya that is able to give the third set of ascendancy points?

Something really seems broken, I got the barya from that location and it says it will allow me to choose an ascendancy, but I already have the 4 points from the noncruel acts.

Just wait until you're level 60+ and you get a coin with 60+ level and 3 floors.

It is not a bug. You need to clear level 60+ 3 floors to get the 3rd Ascension. The one the boss gives is only 2 floors. Completing will not provide you with Ascension points. You can either do that or do level 75+ Chaos with 10 trials to get 3rd ascension.

That still seems like a bug considering that the initializing quest appears around lvl 50 content. If ascendancy 3 requires lvl 60+ content to drop the right thing, this seems misplaced.

Go to a waypoint, and click sekhemas, you will notice is the normal level 22 area even if you click on cruel. It does not matter. only the coin does.

You must understand we are missing acts 4-6, ascendancy 3 and 4 for the endgame. Visual bug maybe, but you still can get ascendancy 3 & 4 now.

Interestingly, the cruel version is still greyed out and the token has different text depending on if Im at the low level trial area or if im in a cruel act area.

They should then add a requirement to the quest to get to level sixty instead of making it look bugged. Believe me... He is not the only one thinking that.
