No, which is why people need to manage their gold and keep a rainy day fund on hand when this happens again. gold management is a major part of this game and GGG will always be tinkering with gems in huge and small ways to balance the game. get used to it.
Yeah, this is a beta buddy. You might not know what one of them is, but they tend to have a LOT of balance changes. Your way will just see a lot of people annoyed and start bad mouthing the game as they will, justifiably, feel their time has been wasted.
Also tell me you've not used the respec system without telling me you've never used the respec system. The gold cost is too damned high, especially if you need to respec more than a handful of skills, like say if your build gets nuked by a balance patch.
Do you know GGG? They have a history of "strong balancing". Its pretty normal for them to say something is balanced, while the builds dependand on it are nerfed into the void. They clearly have favorite builds and things they dont like. In POE1 it was an uphill battle to convince them to change the flask system (automation). It took years. And now?
They have over 10 years of "experience". To say "ohhhh its alpha" doesnt count for me.
Years of experience...tuning and tweaking PoE 1, not PoE 2.
They have to see where the extreme damage builds are and potentially flatten them, then perhaps bump things back up slightly to see where it can sit.
And they still do that to this day if they find some broken skill.
Why would you invest into cast on x skills if you get one cast every 7-9 packs. Why would you spend over 10+ passive going into the trigger nodes. Why would you waste 1-2 affixes on spirit. Why would you waste jewel affixes on increased energy and why would you pick monk for their ascension about triggered spell. The 7-9 packs is after fully investing your entire build into triggers, not just using the base level gem. It's absurd. Stop flaming other players for a valid complaints and then pretending like you are better then them.
