So, I´v been wasting exalted orbs on gear for EVER to get to the point where it feels good to play and get some momentum. That was yesterday finally, now my build is useless and you just decided that my time is worth nothing, it was not even that op i constantly kept dying. I know your trying to get the game balanced but just hammering people out of your game is not a good idea.

I really find it hard to understand what people expect from a beta.
They said it quite clearly here:

Will there be wipes during Early Access?
No, there will not be a wipe. We will do new leagues but none of your characters will be wiped, they will just go to a league called Early Access (so they will never be in Standard). In some cases characters in old leagues might be somewhat broken by balance changes though. After launch the "Early Access" characters will still exist.

All this will eventually end up in a separate league of it's own probably a testing ground for future patches. So yeh the gonna mess with a lot of things before full release that is what beta is for.

I understand its Early access, but i´m new to poe and this game ain´t no joke and that´s what i like about it, but if they just nerf everything that works it makes the will to find something new go away because soon as you do, they nerf it to the ground. Why take away the chaos and just destroy a build instead of letting the build be the same just lower the damage, The chaos in the build was fun but they took the fun out of it instead of just lowering the damage and letting people play in the chaos, idk seems like nobody but the hardcore player base gets to play untill one year from now when the game is stable.

I love threads like this .. I get to block even more horrible people who do nothing but post hateful spiteful replies.

@OP no not you, I agree ...two characters of mine are now both DOA and I have painfully started levelling a new one to replace them both.

This game right now feels like its just wasting my time instead of letting me actually test anything by allowing me to progress. They should have left the overturned bosses till full release.

Atm they are obviously collecting data on meme build that completely destroy the game (that themselves didn't though of) and are patching them out.

I will happen again and if you can't accept it, wait for the end of the EA. it's fine, it's only a video game.

All they had to do was make respecs free for EA and the issue is solved, if they nerf spec to hell then free respecs allow people to switch things up and not lose all the time they put into the character.

I mean its not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard to respect the players time.

It's beta, skills will be nerfed, buffed, changed, if a damage change makes you wanna not play you SHOULDN'T be a part of the early access, simple as.

respec should be 1 gold or free cause this is test phase beta game so obviously devs will change things now and than. If they don't do they will loose gamer faster, people rage quitting.

They are probably more worried and how people will react when they remove the free respecs at the end of EA.

The ideal system would be allowing only the players that go a nerfed spell being able to respec for free.

Agreed.

And the fact the forums trolls are out in force, proves the games not in a good place right now.

Instead of logging in to play POE2 today, I spent all morning reading other peoples views on the Nerf (which are fine) if re specs were not so prohibitive (read Fun removed).

EA is a place for feedback and input from all players, end of.
Doesn't matter if people agree or not, all feedback is valid and should be heard and does not deserve the level of toxic trolls I'm seeing.

The fact we are seeing toxic trolls paints a picture of the games state, people are frustrated.

Re specs should be free, it stops creativity and forces the majority of people into META/FOTM builds.

Curious what build you were using, because my build feels far stronger/smoother to play in the latest patch.

Feel like a lot of people get roped into doing the super op builds that are clearly going to get nerfed since they are huge outliers. And then those same people get mad their OP build is now in line with everything else.

Not play .. my dude it annihilated entire builds and leaves that character unplayable, I have two character that both used triggers and no not in the abusive way the streamers were and now both are unplayable as their damage has been sent to the sin bin.

Not sure why I both to reply to people like you .. you should be on the block list too.
