Remove Unique names for characters

For real I spend way too much time in the character creation just trying to pick a name... Everything is taken. We already have a Unique account name which can be used to add people as friends so why make character names Unique also? Or better yet just remove having to name characters all together.
I have my Gamer Tag I use for pretty much everything I play but in this game you have to come up with a Unique name for EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER YOU MAKE... I just need one name to use across all my characters that's it. Or at least give people the option to not name the character if they don't want to and just use their account name as the Display name.
The character creation process in this game should take less than a minute but no it takes up to 20 minutes just to get something you are okay with unless you just name the character a bunch of random letters or put a bunch X's at the start and end of the name. All of my characters are going to end up being all the same name with just different amount of X's before or after the name.
Then you have to think about when Seasons start you then have to come up with ANOTHER name for your season character or even worse characters. Or delete your character with the name you like to start over again.
I mean all of this could be made way easier/better with the removal or Unique character names or just not naming characters to begin with and use our account/Steam names.

I would like the devs to implement a unique account that also number tags the character tag so we can all use the names we want. I dislike constantly seeing "that name has been taken." I want to name my characters the names I want to name them. If we have account tag numbers, it shouldn't be a problem anymore.

Yeah the number tag system works. It is so easy to add also. You just hide the number tag from everyone, then if you want to add them you just ask for their number tag, they give it to you, then you just type their name in with the tag to add them.
Then you could have any name you want on a character. You could name all of your characters the same name if you wanted it wouldn't matter.
It would make the character creation process so easy you would never have to sit there and think about it.

You basicaly can generate any fantasy sounding names just mashing buttons. Im talking staff like: Zumellion, Ennerich, etc. If you cant beat character creatiin screen, how you planning to beat bosses?

I just use [unique name]_[something].

So if i deside to try minion build, i will go like Dwane_necro.

The problem is database and UID. Unique name is basicaly UID.

Yeah, Right now my characters name are my Steam ID but with different X's in it. I just can't be bothered with coming up with all kinda of names when the game has Unique names because I will just end up spending 20-30mins in the character creation. Having Number Tags would fix this and make the game better.

Nope sorry, entirely too reasonable. Some weeb will have to insult you for this take. This is Steam we don't do sensible.
