Yeah the number tag system works. It is so easy to add also. You just hide the number tag from everyone, then if you want to add them you just ask for their number tag, they give it to you, then you just type their name in with the tag to add them.
Then you could have any name you want on a character. You could name all of your characters the same name if you wanted it wouldn't matter.
It would make the character creation process so easy you would never have to sit there and think about it.

The problem is database and UID. Unique name is basicaly UID.
Nope sorry, entirely too reasonable. Some weeb will have to insult you for this take. This is Steam we don't do sensible.
