Cast on Ignite

SO what the hell happened with cast on ignite, my build revolved around it, I log in after the patch and its taking x200 to build up...
It didnt felt that strong, did they really just gut it?

There's an entire sorc ascendancy dedicated to shock and cast on shock, seems kinda silly if they screwed the whole thing.

i have another problem. I play incinerate, which deals no hit dmg and apply ignite instead. And use cast on ignite with Firestorm. But the problem is that it consumes ignite on Unique monsters and bosses too fast and recast again. So ignite is dealing no dmg. But i investi in ignite dmg. So i have to turn off cast on ignite every boss fight to deal ignite damage/

I think it's because the Devs don't want to us to rely on these one trick horses.
If you can clear the entire game with just a single spell, something is wrong. You should have to use your toolkit, not just a single spell.

cast on minion death is still fine, i use it with curse and hexblast , suicide raging spirits triggering it pretty fast , i summon them with that raining fire spell

Cast on X gems got nerfed a week ago, HARD. Basically useless now. Don't waste the spirit on them. I actually tested one last night on cruel with my witch using "on fire" and it never procced while i'm setting the whole screen ablaze.

While I agree I also have to ask, when a game you love takes a direction you don't like, Do you simply leave or try to be heard? or maybe you have another approach?
Also the Famboyinism is not the leaving player but mostly the ones that cant accept that their game is lacking and more often that not tend to attack other players... new at that... then the sword spreads and some games die. . .
