Path of Exile 2 VS Last Epoch - Playercount

Okay so considering all the content creators and POE2 haters in general, are talking that Last Epoch is doing better than POE2.
As someone who's never seen Last Epoch I thought i'd do a quick view on the steam page and playernumbers.

And honestly, they are not at all in the same league as eachother.

POE2 playernumbers; 83K Current players - 171K 24hr peak
Last Epoch playernumbers; 3K current players - 7K 24hr peak

Also i'm not sure if Last Epoch has a seperate launcher where the majority of players are. But going by steam numbers, Last Epoch is a pretty niche game that's only as popular as Path of Exile 1.

So POE2 is a by all means more succesfull and more fun (if it wasn't fun it wasn't succesfull) than both of those games combined.
and the only people who hate on it are content creaters who can't play without a build guide and butthurt POE1 players who basically want diablo type of gameplay (fast paced zooming across the map)

New content vs what 1 yr old content? Poe has a MUCH bigger starting player base that the much smaller studio over at LE. There is a lack of build diversity in poe2...the crafting is a HUGE rng roll of the dice. Love for poe2 to be MUCH better and perhaps some good competition will help push poe2!

Nobody truely cares who has the bigger d1ck. Play with the ♥♥♥♥ you have most fun with for a month or so and play the next game. Nobody plays only one game if you are fan of the genre.

LE will get new content after a year of nearly nothing. Ofc people will flock to it. But as for the nature of these games.. people will go to other games after they are satisfyed.

This is why Grim Dawn is still the best: the Steam forum isnt full of this nonsense.

There's a toxic flock of players that just swarms from poe2 to diablo 4 and last epoch, doing nothing but creating the same topics over and over and over and over.

You guys feed on your group's insane insecurities and the need to compare everything to something else without even trying to just stfu and enjoy things.

And there's always one that hasn't made my block list... so the flock is still growing.

Imagine believing there's 80.000 players connected all the time playing a garbage poe 2. It's mostly bots. It's called marketing, and everyone does it for many reasons. One is that people have herd mentality and don't want to play online games that have few players, which, is what you're doing here, propaganda. Secondly, investors need to be appeased, so, inflated player numbers makes them happy and makes them not questions the design choices of the teams because well, people are playing, albeit being mostly bots. People, don't fall for it, POE 2 is a garbage game full of bots hyped by some streamers who are paid to do so. Don't even wait for full release, let them know we, the whiny little consumers won't be accepting unfinished products that doesn't respect our time as beings.

Monster Hunter Wilds had a 24 hours peak of 182k and Monster hunter World only had 24k players.

Both have positives and negatives, really don't care which one has made more money.

LE has taken the genre forward in many ways with it's crafting and ssf buffs, the built in QoL is actually something to be applauded from indie Devs.

Poe2 is in early access but being a sequel was riding on the hype which Poe created, there's things to like but does so many things wrong from what we have come to expect as a standard from arpg's.

Lmao, 80k, hahahaha, last time I touched this garbage there wasn't a single soul typing in Global chat. First days when the game came out it moved like there was at least 5k people playing, but now, it's just ZzzzzzZZzzzzzZz. KEK.

Watch those players numbers later in the week. I played PoE2 Hunt thing and it's boring AF. Huntress is buns, the fresh start experience is buns, the wisp is buns and usually just back tracks the entire map I cleared so no monsters.
Excited for LE new stuff. Love it's crafting system and endless storage space. Inventory SORT BUTTON is S tier too

ive seen interviews with Jonathan where he said about the player retention which i want to agree with him but 0.2 is so slow its like instead of getting 1 month salary after working 1 month you get it after working 2 months which doesnt necessarily mean its better, people want to retire asap and not work for so long. Yes being able to play a video game for more hours is better but not when it feels like sht majority of the time its like carrot on a stick following it.

Who cares about such comparisions? Just play the games you like. Simple as that. And you can hate and like whatever you want. Why should someone care if others hate the game you like. Does it bother you?

Do your comparison every day after the 17th and then you will see real numbers, people are on standby waiting for LE Season 2 release.

Now do this comparison again when GGG will have depleted all their goodwill with the playerbase like Diablo 3 did back in the day which will let LE grow like poe1 did and then compare poe2 numbers to LE2

It means they did a good marketing and that's it, for the players the most important thing are the reviews and in this case Last Epoch is better.

I dont really care about the player count, i asked them to put the game on sale via steam discussion and they banned me. So i will not be playing last epoch and will be encouraging other people to not play it as well.
