Too many 1 shots....

I am trying to hard to enjoy Hardcore... but everytime i get reset because of a random 1 hit kill. If you dont play completely hide/run and gun something will eventually 1 shot you. Power to those who make it to late game. Feels so awkward to be untouched for the whole area and then have a unit 1 hit and not even by a special attack like executioners guilotine drop but by a general smack of something...

Just sucks to get so far and be reset... particularly when i dont want to play hide and shoot.

Well it depends on the class you play too really. Right now lich is probably the best way to play hardcore other than that good luck surviving. But yeah hardcore pretty much blows right now cuz of random 1 shots like that especially when you fight ranged mobs

Don't know if you're looking for advice or just venting, but what class are you playing, what are your resistances, and what defences are you using? Make sure you get as high resistances as you can on your armour, and have at minimum 50% evasion if you're an evasion class, at least 60% armour if you're an armour class, or just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of energy shield if you're anything else.

There are a lot of one shots, but it's usually from either bosses, or smaller mobs that have fairly clear telegraphs which these I'm assuming are not what you're getting hit by.

Also be careful about small pathways, because I found they tend to funnel a lot of little enemies that all attack at the exact same time which will "1 shot," not because any one attack is a lot of damage, but because of a lot of attacks hitting at the same time.
